Andre Drummond finished with 14 points and 16 rebounds and Josh Smith scored 20 points for the Pistons, winners of seven of their last 11 games and six road games in their last seven.
Jared Sullinger had 19 points, Jordan Crawford added 17, Avery Bradley 14 and Jeff Green 13 apiece for Boston.
