Free agency begins in October, but the Jazz are reportedly already working on the five-year deal that could reach $160 million.

The sixth-seeded Jazz exited the playoffs after seven tough games against West No. 3Denver Nuggets, with Mitchell putting up an impressive offensive performance with a series average of 36.3 points highlighted by two 50-point games.

The deal is being finalized, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.

The former Louisville guard was picked 13th overall from the 2017 draft pool by the Denver Nuggets and was immediately sent to the Jazz.
