RICHARD Jefferson led the Jazz with 20 points as Utah stopped a four-game losing streak to an easy 122-101 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night (Thursday, Manila time).
Derrick Favors and Gordon Hayward each scored 17 points for the Jazz (5-20), who set season highs for assists (35) and points scored in the win. Alec Burks finished with 15 points and rookie point guard Trey Burke tallied 11 points and nine assists for Utah. Jeremy Evans added 11 points.
DeMarcus Cousins had 21 points, 17 in the second half and grabbed 11 rebounds for the Kings, who had their two-game winning streak snapped. Isaiah Thomas chipped in 20 points and seven assists. Jimmer Fredette and Derrick Williams scored 13 points apiece, while Marcus Thornton and Jason Thompson each scored 11.
