James Johnson takes charge as Heat beat Nets to extend win run to 13

JAMES Johnson came off the bench to lead the way for the Miami Heat, scoring 26 points in a 108-99 victory over the lowly Nets on Friday in Brooklyn (Saturday, Manila time).

The Heat stretched their win streak to 13, chalking up their 24th win in 54 outings.

Goran Dragic scored 21 on 9 of 18 shooting, while Tyler Johnson came up with 18 points, making 6 of 16 field goal attempts.

The Nets suffered their 12th consecutive loss and 45th in 64 games.

Brook Lopez came up with 30 points on 10 of 17 shooting, while Randy Foye went 5 for 9 and ended up with 15 points.

Bojan Bogdanov added 10 points for Brooklyn.
