ONE of Michael Jordan’s fiercest rivals chose the side of LeBron James in the “Greatest of all time” conversation.
Isiah Thomas took to Twitter on Friday, Manila time to label James as the GOAT for not just his brilliance seen on the court, but also having the numbers to prove it.
"The best and most 'complete' player I have seen in my lifetime is @KingJames on and off the floor. He passed the eye test and the numbers confirm what my eyes have seen in every statistical category. #GOAT let it be known!” the former Pistons star posted.
Thomas’ snub of contemporary Jordan is not surprising, considering their well-documented rivalry that saw them face off in several heated playoff battles starting in the late 1980s.

Jordan, though, remains widely regarded as the GOAT, although James is closing in as far as championships are concerned. The Los Angeles Lakers are up, 3-1, against the Miami Heat, in the ongoing NBA Finals, and closing the series out would put LeBron two away from matching Jordan’s six titles.
What do you think of Thomas' opinion on the GOAT debate?
