    Celtics get new win run going, beat Pacers and spoil Paul George’s 37-point night

    THE Celtics got a new win run going, defeating the Indiana Pacers, 109-100, on Wednesday in Boston (Thursday, Manila time).

    Isaiah Thomas showed the way for the Celtics, who made it back-to-back wins after shock loss to the Philadelphia 76ers.

    Boston, coming off a win over Washington, notched its 46th win in 72 outings.

    Thomas scored 25 points on 9 of 21 shooting, the fifth straight game he has scored under 30.

    Avery Bradley had 18 points, while Al Horford and Jae Crowder had 15 points each.

    The Pacers continued their up and down ride, absorbing their seventh loss in 14 outings.

    Paul George scored 37 points on 11 of 26 shooting for Indiana, which suffered its 35th loss in 71 games.

    Jeff Teague was the only other Indiana player to score in double figures with 25 points.
