ISAIAH Thomas had 29 points and a career-high 15 assists to lead the Celtics past the Utah Jazz, 115-104, on Tuesday in Boston (Wednesday, Manila time).
Thomas only had one turnover and made five of eight attempts from the 3-point line to power the Celtics to their second straight win. Thomas scored 10 of his points in the fourth quarter to counter a Jazz rally.
Utah was up 39-38 in the second quarter when Thomas and Jae Crowder jumpstarted a 10-2 Boston on run to establish a lead they never relinquished.
The Celtics waxed hot from outside, making 17 of 31 from downtown.
Al Horford and Crowder scored 21 points each for Boston, which improved to a 21-14 record and 9-6 at home.
Crowder also hit five triples.
Gordon Hayward had 23 points while Joe Johnson added 17 for Utah who saw its four-game winning streak end.
