ISAIAH Thomas and Al Horford showed the way as the Celtics defeated the skidding Charlotte Hornets, 108-98, on Monday in Boston (Tuesday, Manila time).
The Celtics made it three straight wins, while sending the Hornets to their fifth consecutive loss.
Thomas came up with 35 points, with 17 coming in the fourth, as the Celtics notched their 26th wi in 41 outings. He went 7 for 15 from beyond the arc.
Horford scored 22 points on 8 of 14 shooting.
The Celtics made 15 of 39 attempts from beyond the arc.
Jae Crowder went 5 for 11 and wound up with 15 points, which was matched by Kelly Olynyk, who came off the bench and made 6 of 9 field goal attempts.
The Hornets absorbed their 21st loss in 41 games.
Kemba Walker came up with 24 poinrs on 8 of 21 shooting, while Marvin Williams scored 21, going 8 for 14 from the field.
Nicolas Batum had 10 rebounds and 10 assists, falling two points shy of a triple-double.
