Waiters first saw action for the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA bubble after being signed in March.
But Waiters suited up for the Miami Heat in a turbulent start to the season that had the team suspending the guard several times — once needing to skip a game to due to a panic attack following the ingestion of weed-infused gummies.
Three games and three suspensions later, Waiters was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies, who waived the guard.
It the Heat win, the team also has the option to send Waiters a portion of the playoff winnings.
