THE long wait for the revolutionary shoe that caters to both basketball and football sneakerheads is coming to an end as Brazilian star striker Neymar Jr.'s first sneaker with the Jordan Brand, the Neymar x Air Jordan 5 Low, drops on June 9 (June 10, Manila time).
The first in the Brazilian icon and Barcelona star's sneaker range with Jordan, also marking the first time the shoe brand has entered the world of soccer.
The Jordan 5, designed by Nike engineer Tinker Hatfield, was inspired by the P-51 Mustang fighter of World War II fame and is distinctive for its midsole 'flames,' 3M reflective tongue, transparent outsoles, and detachable lace locks.
The exclusive collaboration sneaker also features unique features like a reflective silver and infrared 23-black colorway and Neymar’s No.10 on the side of the heel, along with the combination of the Jumpman and Neymar's logo. Each pair has a retail price of $200.
