JAMES Harden is high-maintenance when it comes to his signature beard.
The Houston Rockets star known not only for his high-scoring, all-around game, but also for his long beard, admitted he has a barber who regularly maintains it.
Harden gamely fielded questions from local sportswriters during Thursday’s press conference for the NBA 3X Philippines event when he was asked how he takes care of his beard.
“I have a barber,” said Harden. “When my barber isn’t around, I have to comb it, brush it, and shampoo it. I do a lot of crazy things to it.”
The combo guard said taking care of his beard has become a major part of his daily grooming habit.
“I do it every single day. It’s a routine that I do when I wake up,” said Harden, who is in the country along with New Orleans Pelicans star Eric Gordon for the NBA 3X Philippines event.
