GORDON Hayward scored 24 points as the Utah Jazz beat the Atlanta Hawks 95-68 on Friday night (Saturday, Manila time).
The Jazz went on a 23-2 run early in the fourth quarter to secure the win as George Hill hit a pair of triples and Rudy Gobert completed a three-point play.
The Jazz played well in the first half as they established a 48-34 cushion.
Hill scored 23 points and Gobert finished with his eighth double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds with five blocks.
Dennis Schroder led the Hawks (10-6) with 16 points and Paul Millsap added 11.
Dwight Howard was limited to four points after going 2-9 from the field. Atlanta struggled on offense, shooting just 31.3 percent from the field and had problems getting stops in several extended stretches.
The Hawks have now lost four of five after starting the season 9-2.
