Goran Dragic came up with 21 points on 8 of 12 shooting and James Johnson came off the bench to deliver 15 points, making 6 of 14 field goal attempts.
The Pacers managed to keep it close but lost Paul George early in the third, ejected after being assesses two technical fouls on separate plays.
The Heat ran away in the fourth, dealing the Pacers their seventh loss in the last 10 games.
George scored 10 points.
Myles Turner had 18 points and Jeff Teague scored 16 for the Pacers, who suffered their 29th loss in 59 outings.
