THE Golden State Warriors ran their offense to perfection in coasting to victory over the undermanned New York Knicks, 103-90, for their third straight win on Thursday (Friday, Manila time) at the Oracle Arena.

The Warriors had to fight off a valiant effort by the Knicks early, with New York trailing just by seven after the first quarter and were only behind by 10 near the midway point of the third before Golden State started pulling away with a 17-2 run to take a 83-58 lead.

The passing game was on point for the Warriors, with 26 assists at the half, and had 36 straight assisted field goals up until an Ian Clark floater to end the third quarter, with Golden State leading 88-66.

New York then made a late push behind reserves Willy Hernangomez, Ron Baker and Justin Holiday to get as close as 12, 98-86, with 2:01 remaining. But the Warriors bench proved capable in securing the win down the stretch.
