KHRIS Middleton scored a season-high 24 points and Giannis Antetokounmpo had 21 points and 10 rebounds, as the Milwaukee Bucks recovered from a poor start and late rally by Toronto to beat the Raptors 101-94 on Saturday (Sunday, Manila).

Milwaukee scored a season-low 12 points in the first quarter but bounced back with a 41-point performance in the second period en route to a 53-42 lead.

Milwaukee started the fourth quarter with a 13-point advantage but the Raptors cut the lead to four about halfway through the period. Back-to-back baskets by Antetokounmpo put Milwaukee back in control and the Raptors got no closer than seven points the rest of the way.

Bucks reserve Stephen Hawes added 16 points and 10 rebounds while rookie Malcolm Brogdon scored 17.

It was the second straight win for the Bucks who are currently in 10th place in the Eastern Conference. The win snapped a seven-game losing streak against Toronto.

Serge Ibaka finished with 19 points for the Raptors who lost DeMarre Carroll to an ankle injury. Cory Joseph added 14 points and 8 assists. Demar DeRozan was held to 11 markers.
