THE Milwaukee Bucks survived a late Celtics rally, scoring a 103-100 win on Wednesday in Boston (Thursday, Manila time).
Malcolm Brogdon showed the way for the Bucks, who led 88-80 early in the fourth but allowed the Celtics to tie the game at 93.
Brogdon scored six of the Bucks’ last 10 points and also made a huge assist in the dying moments
The Bucks got some breathing room when Brogdon scored back-to-back baskets then set up Giannis Antetokounmpo for a dunk that gave them a 99-95 lead.
Milwaukee made it back-to-back wins, notching their fifth victory in the last six games.
Brogdon finished with 16 points and was an assist shy of a double-double.
Antetokounmpo scored 22 and had nine rebounds, while Khris Middleton scored 19 as the Bucks improved their win-loss record to 39-36.
The Celtics saw their win streak end at four.
Isaiah Thomas had 32 points, while Jae Crowder scored 13 for Boston, which absorbed its 27th loss in 75 outings.
