George, Stephenson step up in Pacers win over Celtics

PAUL George scored 24 points and Lance Stephenson finished with his third triple-double of the season, to lead the Indiana Pacers to a 106-79 win against the Boston Celtics on Sunday (Monday, Manila time).

Stephenson had 12 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists as Indiana won its second straight to remain the leader in the Eastern Conference with a 22-5 record. Stepehenson is the only player in the NBA with more than one triple-double this season. Roy Hibbert had 15 points and 12 rebounds for the Pacers.

Avery Bradley led Boston with 13 points. Courtney Lee and Jeff Green each scored 11 in coach Brad Stevens' return to the Indy suburb of Zionsville, his hometown. The 37-year old coach led the nearby Butler Bulldogs to back-to-back national championship games.
