THE Utah Jazz squandered an early double-digit lead and had to battle the Golden State Warriors in a tight endgame for a 105-99 victory on Monday in Oakland (Tuesday, Manila time).

George Hill and Rudy Gobert showed the way for Utah, which got ahead 45-35 but lost the lead and struggled in the endgame even as Golden State sat most of its starters.

The Jazz notched their 50th win in 81 outings.

Hill scored 20, while Rudy Gobert came up with 17 points and 18 rebounds for Utah.

The Los Angeles Clippers also have a 50-31 record and are in fourth after a win over the Houston Rockets.

The Jazz face the San Antonio Spurs in their final regular season game, while the Clippers take on the Sacramento Kings.

Steph Curry scored 28 points for the Warriors, who rested Klay Thompson and saw their win run end at 14.

The Warriros hold a 66-15 record.

Kevin Durant added 16 for Golden State, which had earlier secure the top spot in the Western Conference and homecourt advantage throughout the playoffs.
