THE Utah jazz got a huge boost with the return of George Hill, beating the Denver Nuggets, 108-83, on Wednesday in Salt Lake City (Thursday, Manila time) to halt a four-game slide.
Back after missing eight games with an injured thumb on his shooting hand, Hill scored 22 points as the Jazz notched their sixth win in 15 games.
Rudy Gobert scored 19 points and hauled down 13 rebounds for his eighth double-double of the season.
Gordon Hayward had 22 points and made seven assists for the Jazz, who next host the Atlanta Hawks.
No Denver starter managed to score in double figures, and rookie Jamal Murray came off the bench to lead the Nuggets with 23 points.
Fellow reserve Wilson Chandler was the only other Denver player to contribute double digits, delivering 13 points on 4 of 11 shooting.
The Nuggets absorbed their ninth loss in 15 games.
