    Hornets gain share of Eastern Conference lead, stretch streak to four with win over Jazz

    AN ailing Frank Kaminsky provided the energy along with fellow reserves as the Hornets overcame the Utah Jazz, 104-98, to extend their winning streak to four on Wednesday in Charlotte (Thursday, Manila time).

    Kaminsky, who had a viral infection, scored 13 points, including the go-ahead jumper with seven minutes left to play as the Hornets notched their sixth win in seven games.

    The Hornets joined the Cavaliers on top of the Eastern Conference standings.

    Two other backups scored in double figures, with Marco Belinelli also delivering 13 and Spender Hawes adding 11 for the Hornets, who trailed by seven at halftime.

    Kemba Walker played 34 minutes and scored 21, while Marvin Williams added 19.

    Utah saw its win streak end at two despite a 29-point performance from Gordon Hayward.

    Rodney Hood added 20 points and Derrick favors added 16 for the Jazz, who absorbed their fourth loss in nine games.
