THE Los Angeles Lakers added a new member to the coaching crew, hiring former WNBA player Shay Murphy.
Frank Vogel has Phil Handy, Mike Penberthy, Miles Simon and Quinton Crawford as assistants, along with recently-hired David Fizdale, John Lucas III.
Murphy, who also had stints in Europe with ballclubs in Spain and Turkey, joins the Lakers as a coaching associate.
The Lakers also has a new Head Athletic Trainer in Roger Sancho and promoted Ed Streit to Head Strength & Conditioning Coach.
