Eric Bledsoe triple-double propels Suns to 36-point rout of Lakers

ERIC Bledsoe had triple-double and Devin Booker scored 23 points to lead the Phoenix Suns in a 137-101 rout of the struggling Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night (Thursday, Manila time).

It was the third career triple double for Bledsoe who finished with 25 points, a season-tying 13 assists and 10 rebounds. He is the first Phoenix player to achieve the feat since November 2015.

Marquese Chriss dunked his way to 15 points to go with eight boards for cellar-dwelling Phoenix which is one win behind the Lakers. Reserve Alex Len added 15 points and nine rebounds.

The Suns outscored the Lakers in all quarters and beat the Lakers for the 11th straight at home.

It was the best offensive outing for the Suns this season who set highs for points and field goal shooting.

Lou Williams and D'Angelo Russell each had 21 points for Los Angeles who have have lost three of its last four.
