Leandro Barbosa came off the bench to score 21 on 8 of 16 shooting, helping the Suns notch only their seventh win in 23 outings.
Devin Booker had 15 points, Alex Len contributed 14 and Brandon Knight chipped in with 12 for Phoenix.
The Lakers suffered their fifth straight loss even as Lou Williams came up with another huge game.
Williams came up with 35 points off the bench 10 of 19 shooting for the Lakers, who have lost 15 of 25 games.
