Enes Kanter, Zach Randolph could be on move as Knicks, Kings in trade talks

Knicks, Kings discuss trade of expiring contracts
Jan 11, 2019

ENES Kanter could find himself in a new address.

The New York Knicks are in talks with the Sacramento Kings about trading Kanter for Zach Randolph, whose contracts are both expiring.

Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported the development late Wednesday, Manila time.

The veteran sportswriter, though, added that the deal is far from sealed, suggesting the Kings to add more expiring-contract players to the deal, while a third-party team could also speed up negotiations.

Kanter, who’s earning $18.6 million this season, has put up a solid performance this year with averages of 14.4 points, 11 rebounds, and two assists in 26.5 minutes in 41 games, but is slowly being removed from coach David Fizdale’s rotation.

The 37-year-old Randolph, who is owed $11.6 million this year, has yet to see action for the Kings this season after norming 14.5 points, 6.7 boards, and 2.2 assists in 59 games last year.
