THE Los Angeles Lakers have gained another boost in manpower for the NBA restart in Orlando.
After acquiring free agent JR Smith, the Lakers have secured the commitment of center Dwight Howard, aiding the team’s title aspirations.
Shams Charania of The Athletic first reported the development on Tuesday, Manila time days after there was uncertainty over Howard’s availability.
Howard will also donate his remaining game salary to his non-profit campaign Breathe Again, Charania reported.
