Durant leads Westbrook-less Thunder rout tired Rockets

KEVIN Durant had 33 points, 13 rebounds and five assists, in leading the Oklahoma City Thunder winn their second straight game without injured point guard Russell Westbrook, routing the Houston Rockets 117-86 on Sunday night (Monday, Manila time).

Jeremy Lamb took up the scoring slack by adding a career-high 22 points plus five assists for Oklahoma City, to help the Thuner maintain the NBA's best record at 25-5. Reggie Jackson, who replaced Westbrook in the starting line-up, finished with 16 points and eight assists.

Aaron Brooks scored 17 points and Chandler Parsons added 15 for Houston, which was playing its fourth game in five days. The Rockets saw their three-game winning streak end with the loss.
