KEVIN Durant finished with 27 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder past the Sacramento Kings 97-95 for to their eighth straight win on Tuesday night (Wednesday, Manila time).
Russell Westbrook finished with 15 points, eight rebounds and seven assists for the Thunder, who won their seventh straight game against the Kings. Jeremy Lamb added 14 points, Reggie Jackson scored 13, and Serge Ibaka grabbed nine rebounds to go with 13 points. and nine rebounds for the Thunder.
The Kings, led by Isaiah Thomas's 24 points, reduced a 17-point deficit early in the final period, but Thomas missed a jumper with 1 second left that would have sent the game to overtime. Ben McLemore scored 14 points and Derrick Williams added 13 for the slumping Kings, who have lossed five straight games.
