Pistons end four-game slide and send Heat to second straight loss

ANDRE Drummond had 18 points and 15 rebounds and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope scored 22 points as the Detroit Pistons halted a four-game losing streak by with a 107-84 rout of the Miami Heat on Wednesday night (Thursday, Manila time) at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

Drummond dominated his match up against Hassan Whiteside who had with six points and eight rebounds.

The Pistons, who have a 6-2 record at home, led by as many as 15 in the first quarter and held a 56-42 advantage at halftime.

Tyler Johnson had 17 points for the Heat, which has lost eight of its last 10 games. Dion Waiters was the only Miami starter to reach double figures with 11 markers.

Heat forward Udonis Haslem got into a shouting match with a Pistons fan during a timeout with 5:11 left in the game. Haslem’s teammates intervened and police removed the fan.
