THE injury fears came true and what was expected to be an exciting offseason could be a tough one for Derrick Rose as he undergoes another knee injury.
Rose was out for the third straight game, and the Knicks announced during the match against the Boston Celtics that the former MVP will miss the five remaining games.
The 28-year-old guard is set to have surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee.
Rose saw action in 64 games this season and intrigued several teams with his solid performances
Now he's set for his second surgery on the left knee, the same knee that had a torn anterior cruciate ligament in 2012.
It will be the fourth knee surgery, including operations on the right knee, for the veteran guard who is headed for free agency.
