CHICAGO Bulls star Derrick Rose has mixed business with pleasure by bringing his family along for his Adidas promotional tour which had its last stop in this basketball-crazy nation.
“I brought my family so it’s a lot cheaper,” said Rose, drawing laughs from the media during Monday’s press conference.
Rose said the world tour, which also had stops in Milan, Serbia, and Hong Kong, gave him an opportunity to bond with his family, including his mother, before plunging back into action in the new NBA season.
“It’s been great. Taking pictures, see places, new cities, different cultures. Definitely, I want to go back to one of them,” said Rose.
“It’s the second time my mom has been leaving the country and she is having a blast,” he added.
The Bulls star said that he had a lot of inputs in the new D-Rose logo as it symbolizes his family.

By the way, also joining Rose for the whirlwind tour is his manager BJ Armstrong, also a former Bulls standout who was part of Michael Jordan's multi-titled teams in the nineties.
