DERRICK Rose is taking time off again to deal with a personal matter.
The former MVP is reportedly thinking about retirement, although coach Tyronn Lue said he expects Rose to rejoin the squad.
“I want him to take his time … it's a personal matter,” said Tyronn Lue, adding the former MVP has the support of the team.
“… the team, the coaches, the organization, we all have his back. I wish him well, and we expect to have him back.”
“ ... take as long as he needs to take, and we wish him well, and we want him back,” Lue added.
Rose last season left the Knicks without notifying the squad but he returned and said he dealt with a family matter.
