Cebuano hoops fans are in for an absolute treat as 2011 NBA Most Valuable Player Derrick Rose makes his highly anticipated first visit to the Queen City of the South.
The basketball legend will headline “Rose Meets the Queen: Derrick Rose in Cebu,” a massive two-day celebration culminating on August 26 at SM Seaside City Cebu.
While this marks Rose’s third trip to the Philippines as an ArenaPlus brand ambassador, it will be his very first time stepping foot in Cebu—a province globally recognized for its deep, undeniable passion for the game.
The festivities officially tip off on August 25 with an exclusive Champion’s Circle
Appreciation Dinner, giving select ArenaPlus players a rare and intimate opportunity to interact with the Chicago Bulls icon.
However, the real public party goes down the following day, August 26, when the celebration opens its doors to the passionate Cebuano crowd at SM Seaside City Cebu.
Starting at 11:00 AM, fans can dive into a full day of basketball activities, exclusive giveaways, and live entertainment.
Even better, admission is completely free and open to all guests aged 21 years old and above.
For ArenaPlus, bringing "D-Rose" directly to Cebu is a deliberate push to decentralize major sports events and build much stronger fan communities outside of the nation's capital.
