A WOMAN who identified herself as Derrick Rose's former girlfriend has filed a lawsuit accusing the NBA star and two of her friends of drugging and gang-raping her, the TMZ website reported on Thursday.
The woman, who claimed in the lawsuit that she dated Rose from 2011 through 2013, said that during an incident in August 2013, Rose and two of his friends, identified as Ryan Allen and Randall Hampton, invited her to Rose's home in Beverly Hills, California and slipped a drug into her drink while she was there.
Identified only as Jane Doe in the lawsuit, the woman claims in the lawsuit that she was able to escape the home with a friend but that Rose, Allen, and Hampton broke into her apartment later that night and raped her.
In her lawsuit, the woman claims that she did not come forward sooner because she was "ashamed and embarrassed" by the alleged incident.
TMZ is reporting that the woman is seeking unspecified damages in her lawsuit.
Rose has yet to respond to the allegations.
