WILSON Chandler and Kenneth Faried posted season-high outings in Denver’s wire-to-wire romp over Phoenix, 120-104, as the Nuggets scored their first win of the season in their Pepsi Center floor to end a four-game slide on Wednesday (Thursday, Manila time).

Chandler had a season-best 28 points off the bench while Faried finished with his highest scoring output so far in the year with 20 to go with 15 rebounds in a match the Nuggets never trailed.

Denver zoomed to an early double digit lead with a pair of 8-0 runs in the first quarter and led by as much as 20, 63-43, in the third period. But Brandon Knight, who also had a season-high 32 points off the bench, rallied the Suns in the fourth to trim the gap down to seven, 93-100, with 6:18 remaining. Faried and Emmanuel Mudiay each scored four points in the closing 20-11 run to help Denver seal the victory.
