NIKOLA Jokic put the fitting highlight to a searing Denver comeback from 18 points down, hitting a 40-footer at the buzzer that stunned the Golden State Warriors, 130-127, in NBA action on Friday.

Jokic collected 34 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds but saved his best for last, hitting a short jumper which tied it at 127-all with 26 seconds left before draining the game-winner from just inside mid-court as the buzzer sounded.

Stephen Curry led Golden State with 30 points. Klay Thompson added 24. But neither had the answer when the Warriors blew a sizeable lead in the final three minutes and fell one game below .500.
The defending champions Nuggets have now won six straight games on the road and 11 of their last 13.
Aaron Gordon added 30 points for the Nuggets.
