Dennis Schroder plays solid in fourth as Hawks overcome Raptors for second straight win

DENNIS Schroder scored 13 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter to power the Atlanta Hawks past the Toronto Raptors, 105-99, on Friday in Atlanta.

The Hawks scored their second straight win after three consecutive losses.

Paul Millsap scored 21 on 7 of 13 shooting and Tim Hardaway Jr. had 20 points, making 8 of 13 field goal attempts.

Dwight Howard had 16 points and 10 rebounds for Atlanta notched its 36th win in 65 outings.

The Raptors absorbed their 27th loss in 65 outings.

DeMar DeRozan had 28 points for Toronto, who could not get a win run going after defeating the New Orleans Pelicans.

Serge Ibaka had 18 points, Corey Joseph added 15 and Jonas Valanciunas had 11 points and 12 rebounds for Toronto.
