THE Hawks took control early and overcame a late Chicago Bulls rally to score a 102-93 victory on Friday in Atlanta (Saturday, Manila time).
Dennis Schroder and Paul Millsap sparked the Hawks’ strong start and they led as many as 34 en route to their 25th win in 43 outings.
The Hawks led 87-53 in the third before the Bulls rallied to trim the deficit to five, 90-95, entering the final minute.
Schroder scored 25 on 11 of 14 shooting, while Millsap came up with 14 points, making 4 of 5 field goal attempts.
The Bulls absorbed their second straight loss and 23rd in 44 games.
Jimmy Butler scored 19 points, while Jerian Grant came off the bench to deliver 12 points fpr Chicago.
