DENNIS Schroder has agreed to join the Boston Celtics on a one-year $5.9 million deal after reportedly turning down an $84 million extension offer from the Los Angeles Lakers.
“This is one of the best franchises in NBA history and it will be a honour to put on the green and white and do what I love!” Schröder wrote on Instagram.
“I’m going out there every night and leaving it all on the floor for the city!! Who’s ready?!”

Schroder played one season with the Lakers after moving from Oklahoma City. Several months ago he reportedly turned down a four-year extension from the Lakers.
The 27-year-old guard from Germany will be playing in his fourth NBA team since being taken by the Atlanta Hawks in the 2013 draft.
The Lakers, bannered by LeBron James and Anthony Davis, recently acquired All-Star guard Russell Westbrook after his sting with the Washington Wizards, added forward Carmelo Anthony from the Portland Trail Blazers, before big man Dwight Howard signed up for a third stint in LA.
