DEMARCUS Cousins had 22 points, 14 rebounds and six assists as the Sacramento Kings ended a five-game slide by sweeping the Detroit Pistons in their regular season match-up with a 109-104 victory on Monday (Tuesday, Manila time) at The Palace of Auburn Hills.

The Kings, who defeated the Pistons in Sacramento two weeks ago, bucked a slow start which saw them trailing by 11 in the first quarter.

Sacramento’s bench then hit its stride in the second period and the Kings had the lead by halftime, 65-62. Detroit ended up trailing the rest of the way

Reserve Ty Lawson hit 7-of-11 shots for 19 points and was instrumental in the Kings' second quarter rally. Darren Collison and Willie Cauley-Stein each scored 15 for the Kings, who are on the third of an eight-game road trip. Matt Barnes added 10 off the bench.

Reggie Jackson finished with 18 points and 11 assists for the Pistons who saw their three-game winning streak come to an end. Andre Drummond added 14 points and 12 boards.
