Matt Barnes, DeMarcus Cousins hit huge baskets in overtime as Kings outlast Warriors

THE Kings scored the first seven points in overtime and held on to beat the Golden State Warriors, 109-106, on Saturday in Sacramento (Sunday, Manila time).

Matt Barnes hit a triple and DeMarcus Cousins made back-to-back baskets and the Kings ended a three-game skid.

Cousins scored six of his 32 points in extra minutes, lifting the Kings to their 20th win in 51 outings.

Darren Collison had 18 points on 8 of 13 shooting, while Willie Cauley-Stein came up with 14 points, making 7 of 12 field goal attempts.

Barnes finished with 11 points and Anthony Tolliver matched the output.

The Warriors saw their win streak end at five even as the Splash Brothers combined for 61 points.

Steph Curry scored 35 on 11 of 20 shooting with eight triples, while Klay Thompson went 10 for 25 and four treys.

Kevin Durant came up with only 10 points, making 2 of 10 field goal attempts, and the Warriors absorbed their eighth loss in 51 games.
