DARREN Collison made the winning layup with three seconds left as the Kings completed a fightback from 22 points down to score a 108-107 win over the Atlanta Hawks on Friday in Sacramento (Saturday, Manila time).
The Hawks led 71-49 in the third before the Kings rallied and managed to move ahead 102-101 a little under a minute left on a Matt Barnes basket.
A see-saw battle ensued, with Collison hitting the basket for the Kings’ second straight win.
Collison finished with 22 points, which was matched by DeMarcus Cousins and Ben McLemore as the Kings notched their 22nd win in 54 outings.
The Hawks absorbed their 23rd loss in 54 games.
Tim Hardaway Jr scored 28, while Paul Millsap came up with 25 points for Atlanta.
