THE Pelicans got a huge game from DeMarcus Cousins, extended their win streak to three and snapping the Memphis Grizzlies’ win run at four, 95-82, on Tuesday in New Orleans.
Cousins scored 41 points, going 14 for 27 including 5 of 9 from the three-point line while also pulling down 17 rebounds, as the Pelicans recorded their 30th win in 71 games.
Anthony Davis also had a double-double for the Pelicans with 19 points and 13 rebounds.
Jrue Holiday was the only other New Orleans starter to score in double figures with 11 points, while Jordan Crawford came off the bench to deliver 10 markers.
The Grizzlies absorbed their 31st loss in 71 games.
Mike Conley had 16 points, while Troy Daniels and Jamychal Green scored 12 each for Memphis.
