DEMARCUS Cousins came up with a fine performance to lift the Pelicans to a 100-77 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday in New Orleans (Wednesday, Manila time).
The Pelicans made it back-to-back wins after downing the Hornets, notching their 27th win in 67 outings.
Cousins delivered 22 points on 9 of 22 shooting, while Anthony Davis came up with a double-double of 15 points and 15 rebounds.
Jordan Crawford came off the bench to score 13 points, while Solomon Hill scored 12, E’Twaun Moore delivered 11 points and Jrue Holiday had 10 points.
The Trail Blazers, coming off a win over the Phoenix Suns, absorbed their 37th loss in 66 games.
Damian Lillard had 29 points, the only Portland starter to score in double figures.
Shabazz Napier came off the bench to score 10 points.
