    Raptors waste 19-point lead but recover to beat Wizards

    THE Toronto Raptors wasted a 19-point lead but recovered to beat the Wizards, 114-106, on Friday in Washington (Saturday, Manila time).

    DeMar DeRozan showed the way for the Raptors, who led 52-33 in the second quarter but found themselves tied at 81 late.

    The Raptors got back at the Wizards, who won their game in Toronto two days ago.

    Washington in third in the Eastern Conference, while Toronto is fourth.

    DeRozan scored 32 points on 10 of 17 shooting for the Raptors, who notched their 37th win in 62 games.

    Norman Powell came off the bench to score a season-high 21 points.

    The Wizards saw their win streak end at two, and absorbed their 24th loss in 61 games.

    John Wall scored 30 on 9 of 24 shooting, while Bradley Beal went 10 for 21 and had 27 points.
