Raptors stretch streak to three with rout of struggling Knicks

DeMarre Carroll and the Raptors dominated the match, leading by 38 in the third.

DEMAR DeRozan, DeMarre Carroll and Norman Powell showed the way this time for the Raptors, who made it three straight wins with a 116-101 victory over the New York Knicks on Saturday in Toronto (Sunday, Manila time).

Derozan scored 23 points on 8 of 17 shooting, while Carrol made seven of 13 field goal attempts to score 20 as the Raptors notched their 27th win in 40 games.

The Raptors led by 38 points, 96-58 in the third, and were never threatened.

Powell came off the bench to score 21 on 7 of 13 shooting in 24 minutes of action, while Jonas Valanciunas came up with a double-double of 12 points and 16 rebounds.

The Knicks could not get a win run going after a huge victory over the Chicago Bulls.

Carmelo Anthony went 7 for 14 and wound up with 18 points for the Knicks, who suffered their 23rd loss in 41 outings.

Justin Holiday has 17 points on 5 of 8 shooting, while Derrick Rose scored 16, making 6 of 12 field goal attempts.
