    Pacers erase huge early deficit and deal Cavaliers third straight loss

    THE Indiana Pacers erased a huge early deficit and outsteadied the Cleveland Cavaliers, 97-95, on Friday in Indianapolis (Saturday, Manila time).

    The Cavaliers took control early with a 34-12 first period but the Pacers took control late to get the win and get back on track after a loss to the Miami Heat.

    Darren Collison scored 22 points on 9 of 11 shooting as the Pacers improved to 22-20.

    Victor Oladipo added 19 points, while Lance Stephenson came off the bench to score 16.

    Dywane Wade and Isaiah Thomas were out for the game against the Pacers, leaving the Cavaliers without four key guards as Derrick Rose and Iman Shumpert have also been out of the lineup.
