DANILO Gallinari scored 21 points and Kenneth Faried had 19 points and 10 rebounds as the Denver Nuggets broke out of a two-game slump to beat the Magic, 121-113, on Saturday in Orlando (Sunday, Manila time).
The Nuggets leaned on a strong endgame, outscoring the Magic 29-18 in the last period.
The score was tied 106-all at the 5:11 mark before Gallinari sank a triple to trigger a 12-4 run and make it 118-110 with 47 seconds left in the game.
Jusuf Nurkic made 8 of 11 field goals for 17 points. Will Barton added 16. Juan Hernangomez sank four triples for 14 markers. Nikola Jokic also scored 14 points for Denver (9-15).
Evan Fournier led Orlando with 24 points. Serge Ibaka added 22 for the Magic (10-15) which dropped its third straight game.
