DANILO Gallinari is headed to the Los Angeles Clippers after the free-agent forward agreed to a three-year, $65 million contract in a three-team sign-and-trade deal that involved the Denver Nuggets and Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday (Wednesday, Manila time).

Sources within the NBA told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski that the Clippers, Nuggets and Hawks have all agreed to a deal that sent Gallinari to Los Angeles, while Jamal Crawford, Diamond Stone, a 2018 first round pick previously acquired from the Houston Rockets and cash are headed to Atlanta.

Denver got the Hawks 2019 second round pick in the deal.

The 28-year-old Gallinari will add his versatility and outside shooting in a Clippers frontcourt that has high-flying All-Stars DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin.

Meanwhile, Crawford is hoping for a buyout or waiver from the Hawks to enter free agency, sources added.
