Damian Lillard leads way as Blazers end Heat's two-game win streak

DAMIAN Lillard showed the way as the Trail Blazers beat the Miami Heat, 99-92, on Saturday in Portland (Sunday, Manila time).

Lillard scored 19 points as the Blazers scored their second straight win after downing the Indiana Pacers.

Maurice Harkless and CJ McCollum came up with 17 points each for Portland, which notched its 11th win in 21 games.

Allen Crabbe came off the bench to score 16 points, while starting center Mason Plumlee added 11 points on 5 of 8 shooting.

The Heat saw their two-game win streak snapped, even as Hassan Whiteside came up with a huge double-double of 28 points and 16 rebounds.

Goran Dragic had 18 points for Miami, which absorbed its 13th loss in 20 outings.

The Blazers trailed by eight early but outscored the Heat in the second period, 34-20.
