DAMIAN Lillard had a season-high 49 points, tying his career-high nine triples, to power the Portland Trail Blazers to a 115-104 victory over the Heat on Sunday in Miami (Monday, Manila time).
The Blazers made it three straight wins and eight in the last 10 games, continuing their push for a playoff spot.
Lillard went 14 for 21 in 36 minutes of action for Portland, still a spot out of the playoff places in the Western Conference.
Jusuf Nurkic had a double-double of 21 points and 12 rebounds, C.J. McCollum came up with 18 points on 7 of 16 shooting, whiel Noah Vonleh chipped in with 11 points.
The Heat saw their win streak end at two, suffering their second loss in the last four games.
James Johnson had 24 points for the Heat, which is also a notch below the playoffs spots in the Eastern Conference.
Hassan Whiteside came up with 17 points and 10 rebounds, while Goran Dragic scored 17 for Miami, which absorbed its 36th loss in 70 games.
